Warehousing, shipping, strategic partner, legal, and customs across all of Europe, handled by board gamers.
Book a call or send an email — depending on your love language.
Some of the most beloved American publishers are the hardest to buy from in Europe, because their games were handed to someone who doesn't love them.
Buyers and retail partners wait far too long, and you hear about every day of it.
Replacement parts never get sent. A missing meeple ruins the game, but only a board gamer knows that.
Late shipments, angry backers, and reputation damage a smaller publisher can't afford.
Beautiful boxes treated like crates of widgets. Your players notice. So do you.
GameWiz is an award-winning European board game retailer. After six years and 30,000 orders shipped per year, we kept watching American publishers struggle over here, so we opened GameWiz Europe, the publisher-facing arm of our company. We love packing board games, and we want more American titles on European tables. A little selfish of us, sure.
We're a little OCD about packing games the best way possible. We even sleeve our cards, so yours are in good hands.
Voted #1 across every category, not just board games, in 2024 and 2025. Going for a third in 2026.
Real stock on real shelves, packed by specialists who know board games.
EU, UK (post-Brexit), Nordics, Southern Europe. A parcel reaches almost anywhere in one to three days.
A dedicated lawyer handles the scary compliance machinery in-house.
A brand strategist to help you actually land in Europe, not just store boxes here.
Not publishing. Not localization. The operational backbone.
Germans are wonderful. They design incredible board games and they're famously precise. That precision is a plus when you're building cars, but logistics isn't only precision. Sometimes you need to improvise, react fast, and think on your feet. That's where we thrive.
Flexibility over rigidity. We fix things and react fast, not file tickets.
Central & close. Europe isn't as vast as the US. Based in Hungary, you can drive almost anywhere in a day.
Lower operating costs, so your money goes further.
A long history with US companies, even on the West Coast. We're night owls, so if you're up for a morning call we'll still be wide awake. And your parcels get packed and shipped while you sleep.
Native-level English. You never need a word of Hungarian. It's famously hard, so we'll spare you.
We understand games, because we sell them and love them.
Watch your own section of the warehouse whenever you like. Your games, your eyes on them, because you'll want to look at all those beautiful board games eventually anyway.
You don't switch to our software. We build it around the way you already work, and our IT pro can tailor a system to your needs.
Fun fact: on our end it runs on lovingly 90s-DOS-inspired software, but how it looks on yours is entirely up to you.
Real board gamers, each one a specialist in their field. Combine them, and you get your perfect support team in Europe.
Kornél is endlessly passionate about three things: board games, this group of people, and cats. Happiest when there's something to untangle, and especially good with bugs.
Dorothy has a long history of doing business with Americans. She's your contact for anything you need: day-to-day questions, or anything about your brand and strategy in Europe. Fun fact: she lives for games. Call anything a game and she's 100% on board.
A lawyer who speaks native English and knows every twisty, turny corner of European law, customs, and VAT. Best of all, she's brilliant at explaining the mumbo-jumbo to the rest of us.
Dalma knows every nook and cranny of the warehouse. This whole place runs because of her, and she makes sure everything's ready on time. She's also a great mom and an incredible baker, so whenever you stop by, let us know. She'll definitely bake something for you.
Dani is the heart and soul of GameWiz, our longest-serving team member, who knows the brand inside out. He runs all our email and phone communication across Hungary and Europe with real passion. He's full of fun facts about biology (his original field), one of our best storytellers, a huge D&D fan, and a great cook.
Don't let his fur fool you, this little guy is a core team member. He spends his days in the warehouse, friendly with every delivery person who handles boxes with care, and barking at anyone who doesn't. He's basically guarding your boxes, which is why we rarely have damages.
We're too far away to play them together — so let us do the next best thing.
